This is a news letter primary source describing how Bonnie and Clyde were at the time. This showed the efforts that the law took to find them.

This book provides me with a time line of bonnie and Clyde's life. It dates back form 1909 all the way until 1968.All of the events that are listed are important events that they both took part in.
Also this time line starts from when these two were born into what would be the future to them. It gives me like a visual of how these two made an impact on our American history.Because of the fact that i am focused on the events and legacies so far this ics one of my most prized resources.

It also is unique from the rest opf the articles that I have had because it actually shows some type of emotin. I would like to say that this is a primary source article because it is an actual person who remembers these people and were actually affected by them.
This article talks about when Clyde got out of prison how he became an even more of a criminal. There is a lady in this story who describes her feelings and emotions about her husband who was in the law force and got killed by these two. This talks about all of the innocent people that were goiing places in their lives who these two have killed.

Some questions from this passage I have already thought of and used in my essay but the depth of the answers ill help me build upon my own essay answers. One good question was how intense was it in prison for Clyde. The answer was yes because of the fact that Clyde had got an inmate to cut of his toes so he did not have to work. This shows the fact that Clyde is a clever skimmer but also a very sick man. No man in his right mind would mutilate him self. Was bonnie and Clyde ever married the answer is no she died a married woman to Roy Thor ton. Bonnie was cold to her family because of the fact that she let the police accuse her sister for murders that her and Clyde had commited.

Now that I have read the article now I have consumed new knowledge about the topic. In this article in the paragraph about their legacy it states that these two were no robin hood tale they were bad cruel people. They were small time bank robbers and had murdered at least 13 people. In the paragraph about the eastham prison it talks about how Bonnie and Clyde staged a prison break to free their Friend/ partner Raymond Hamilton. The paragraph about the Barrow gang talks about how the gang was created and who the individuals in the gang were. Lastly the article about bonnie and Clyde's first killings where Clyde and his Friend Raymond Hamilton robbed a bank in 1932 and after 4 months they both robbed another bank but instead of just being able to leave 2 cops questioned them about a liquor violation. Instead of coroperating they just killed the two cops.

Thesis statement
All though bonnie and Clyde are portrayed now as a sexy romantic couple they are in fact cold blooded murderers. They were a criminal couple during the times of the great depression; these two were the most notorious and wanted during there time. They had many warrants out for their arrest (dead or alive), maintained a 2 year crime spree, robbed over 8 banks.
Bonnie and Clyde are criminals but they do these things for justice and for the greater good. They help the poor and in return the poor holds up the law so that Bonnie and Clyde can escape. These two believe in the charity of the " strong for the weak." Bonnie was bored with her life and out of no where Clyde just came as this super macho man and sweeped her up into her arms. From there on these two engaged there lives into a spree of crime. Sorry to spoil your great moment but this is not the truth. This is 1967 view of bonnie and Clyde that every gets so stuck on. In reality these two were horrible savages. These two killed for their own selfish reasons and were really not no robin hoods. Bonnie is portrayed as some gangster girl but she never really hold a gun in his life. Clyde looks like a macho romantic guy but in real life he has cold heart.

Although I have news paper articles from that time the website had failed to give the names of the news paper articles. All of the poems were an expression of Bonnie's 's feelings one thing that she always said in her poems was that she did not feel as though her and Clyde were ever free. She also put feeling gs from her heart into these poems. This site also gave thoughts and quotes from other people at this time.

Topic summary
i chose Bonnie and Clyde for my topic of research because i am interested in the fact that they were a couple in crime. Also i am interested in the fact that their crimes all occur ed during the time of the great depression. I think that bonnie and Clyde were important in history because they shaped some of our criminal minds to do. Through the research that I have done so far i found that the stories of Bonnie and Clyde are looked at as a fictional;l romance and not what they really were. For further research i had brought a book on the two couple by the end of next week I should have a paragraph on this by next wee.

The forth parograph talks about how the FBI got a lead on how to find the couple after a two year crime spree. The last parograph discusses how bonnie and Clyde were caught and instantly kill by gthe Fbi and killed in a hail of bullets.

For my independent hours I might not have done many community services but I did help many members of my family. I help my mom uncontainable because she suffers from multiple sclerosis. My mom can not really wealk so I have too break my back to help her. But I don't care because she is my mom and I love her. I just found out that my grandmother the one that I am very close to the one that is very indepedent Had's cancer and will not be around that long. I also had watched my nieces for the whole weeken more than 24 hours.
debate on tuesday 27
Today at debate leshay and dominique went against each other. They both had strong arguments but doms was a bit stronger. He brought up the bible in his argument, had good evidence and was just very accurate. I really liked the fact that lashay actually proved that the economy would be better without slavery. They both had a misunderstanding about the being of the slaves in Africa. Dom said that the slaves were already enslaved and so did lashay. But in reality the slaves were free more of their lives then they were slaves. There were Africans working for the slavers who kidnapped them and took them to be sold. So this was basically arranged to happen.

I learned that cancer is a serious issue and that a cure has not been found yet.
I learned that i need to be more understanding of different things.
If i were in charge of this group i would do more research with my group.
We could send around surveys about cancer.
We could make an Assembly.
We could how every one the franks for Frankie's web site.
I learned that it is good to recycle from another group.
I learned that our earth is very polluted.
I learned from nhd that there is better ways to do nhd.

Reflection of thurs may 15
Some frustration that i had was the fact that our teacher expected alot from us from this. I mean i thought that it was already enough that we had to organize a huge fundraiser within a little period of time but then i Had also found out that that was not it. This school is so confusing because we have so much work to do and projects to turn in there is not much time for service learning. Through service learning i had learned that it is better to give than to receive. Now I learn to help others and also now i have a sense of what cancer is like because my grandmother was just diagnosed with it. Through service learning ki have learned to vaue my health and be more humble.

Nhd reflection
To me Nhd was a pain in the neck. It was a tedious job and it took up a-lot of unnecessary time. But although it was exhausting I had a great partner who did just as much work as me. As we worked together my Nhd experience became interesting and at the end a beautiful exhibit was constructed. I'm not really looking towards doing this project next year but in life we all have to do things that we don't want to do so nhd I will be seeing you again next year.

Benjaman Banneker
Who is Benjamen Banneker? Wow you actually don't know well e is a strong black man who was actually the first black to make this giant achievement. This short passage is about the life of Benjamen Banneker. It is a brief subscription of his achievements, his life story, and how he was inspired to live out his carrier as the first African American astronomer.
Benjamin Banneker was born in Maryland on November 9, 1731. His father and grandfather were former slaves. Benjamin was taught to read and do simple arithmetic by his grandmother and by a Quaker schoolmaster, who changed his name to Banneker. Once he was old enough to help on his parents' farm, his formal education ended.
Driven by this fascination, he turned from farming to watch and clock making. One customer was a neighbor named George Ellicott, a surveyor. He was so impressed with his Banneker's work and intelligence, he lent him books on mathematics and astronomy. With this help, Banneker taught himself astronomy and advanced mathematics. Starting about 1773, he turned his attention to both subjects. His study of astronomy enabled him to make the calculations to predict solar and lunar eclipses.
In 1791, Banneker sent then Secretary of State, Thomas Jefferson, a copy of his first almanac along with an eloquent plea for justice for African Americans, calling on the colonists' personal experience as "slaves" of Britain and quoting Jefferson's own words. Jefferson was impressed and sent a copy of the almanac to the Royal Academy of Sciences in Paris as evidence of the talent of blacks. Banneker's almanac helped convince many that African-Americans were not intellectually inferior to whites.
this passage was a short summary of the life of Benjamen Banneker. This is not even enough to describe all of his achievements but it is all of his most known ones.

Controversial issue
Carpel punishment, this is when a parent physically punishes their child. Is it needed? I believe that carpel punishment should be used but it is not always necessary. I have several reasons why. The reasons are because it can turn into abuse, can harm the child emotionally, and some problems can be solved just by talking.
First and foremost, carpal punishment should not always be used because it can turn into abuse because it can turn into abuse because many parents hit their children above the waist and also many parents hit their children with a bald fist. The law states that carpal punishment is legal but to a certain extent also this can become abuse when; the parent hits their child with a bald fist, heavy object, hard object, sharp object, their feet, and if they don’t on the legs or on the rear end any thing else is abuse. Another way that carpal puninishment can become is if the parent is in rage. The parent should always cool off before punishing. A rage is when the parent snaps on the child and ends up harming them. This is how carpal punishment can become abuse.
Next, carpal punishment is not always good because it could harm the child emotionally. Statistics show that more children who are physically punished feel involved, safe, and unless them children who are talked to many people who have mental problems have been abused at their child hood. That is how carpal punishment can harm you mentally.
Last but not least carpal punishment is not always necessary. There are other options besides beating there is punishment and talking to discipline the child. Carpal punishment works as a fear factor to discipline your child. A lesson will last longer than a beating. For example in the story Huckleberry- Finn, huck would get beat by his father but yet and still he still kept his bad boy ways. This proves that carpal punishment isn’t always good.
Carpal punishment should be used in the United States but it is not always necessary. There are other alternatives, it can turn into abuse, and can arm the child mentally and emotionally.

Huck Finn inappropriate
Wow, Huckle berry Finn. This is not a book for young children especially not my grand child Greg. We are African Americans and fell very offended by this book. There is violence, horrible language, and much racism through out through out this book. No this should not be taught in schools.
For starter s Huck Finn should not be taught in schools because of language. We do not curse in my home and yesterday after my little Greg came from school he asked me “ grandma are we niggers. I said “ no son we are beautiful black people created by god. I asked him where did he learn this word from and he said in school. As soon as I heard this first reaction was to call up the teacher and start up a ruckus. But then I thought to my self and said let me read this book for my self before I jump to conclusion. So I read this book and I was appalled my god some of the words used in it were nigger, damn, hell, And shit exc. Must we go on. Also I don’t want my little Greg to grow up illiterate when he gets older because the grammar in this book is very poor I would give it an f- for language.
Next, there is so much offensive racism in this book. Not only the word Nigger is used but also the writer of this portrays black people as if they are dumb, ignorant, stupid, and dirty worthless animals. They make it as if white people are superior over blacks. Also the treatment of blacks is horrible. They sold them and treated them as if they were property, and I don’t want my little Greg to grow up thinking he is scum under a white man’s shoe. This book has too much racism in it that children should not yet be exposed to.
Last, to top it off there is much violence in this book. I would not want little Greg to have nightmares. Their first person who is woken up because of his nightmares is I. The violence could also be influential for example the fight between Huck and another boy that occurred because Huck wanted to entertain his friends. I would hate to see Greg become a bully. Another example of the violence becoming influential was when the pig in the story was being abused. I was up late last night and I saw Greg trying to drown the dog. Also the beatings, lynching, and child abuse that hucks father puts on him can make Greg get scared.
I conclude that this book is very bad for children and should not be read in schools. It is violent, racist, scary, influential, and full of bad language. Children don’t read it.

I conclude that this book is very bad for children and should not be read in schools. It is violent, racist, scary, influential, and full of bad language. Children don’t read it.
